“Procesos y Estados” (Processes and States) explores the thin line between past and future, between destruction and creation. On one side we see a battered, useless panel: the symbol of an object that has completed its cycle, a “dead” object. On the other, organic, vibrant forms painted in acrylic appear, seeming alive and growing. It is a dialogue between two worlds: the hardness of silicon against the softness of paint, the stillness of the past against the dynamism of the present. My “Processes and States” are an attempt to show how new life can be born from destruction, and how we, passing through our own “states”, constantly move from one “process” to another, changing and adapting. “Nothing is eternal except change itself” became the leitmotif of my work. The painting does not try to hide the panel’s damage; on the contrary, it makes it part of the composition. It speaks of how even something that seems broken, useless or worthless can still become a source of inspiration. The transformation happens not only on the panel but also in how we perceive what is “waste” and what is “art”.
